Easter Events in the Midlands

Top 3 things to do over Easter in the Midlands…

The Easter holidays are upon us, and that lifelong question is rearing its ugly head … “what do I do with the kids?!” Well, never fear, CampAway are here to give you the lowdown on the top days out, for families in the Midlands this Easter.

Are your clan a big fan of animals? Yes?! Then jump in your car and head to the West Midlands Safari Park! Their Easer event runs from the 9th to the 24th April, and gives you and the family a chance to meet Bramble, the Park’s resident Easter Bunny, who has built his burrow in the Discovery Trail.

We won’t lie to you, this day isn’t the most affordable, with it being £20 for adults and £16 for children, but your ticket does also include access to the 4-mile safari, red panda retreat and Land of the Living Dinosaurs, so you can get amongst the animals, big and small!

As well as all of this, there is also an Easter trail where your little eggsplorers search for colourful eggs to win a chocolate surprise!

Want to save the pennies? If you and your family have a national trust membership, then you have FREE access to various NT locations across the UK where you can join in on the Easter fun! Adventure along the Eater themed trails, packed with lots of fun family activities. Complete the trails and win a Rainforest alliance egg!

You can also enjoy the National Trust site in all its splendour by taking a picnic, walking the dog and exploring the grounds! In April the National trust have teamed up with Forthglade to make it even more obvious how dog friendly your local site is! Check out its pawprint rating on the NT website.

Let’s face it, as much as these days sound epic, being outside isn’t always realistic in the Midlands (hello April showers), but we are here with a rainy-day alternative! The British Motor Museum is running a Mini Madness event form the 9th to the 24th of April with loads of activities for the family to get stuck into!

The museum is hosting family tours with a Mini mad mechanic character, you can follow a Mini Trail and the kids can even make their very own Mini using air dry clay along with egg hunts on Easter weekend!

Take the stress out of entertaining your little ones and let the Easter bunny do the rest!

Don’t forget Broadlane opening times do change on this weekend too!
