Save the Date – 30th May to 5th June is National Camping and Caravanning Week!

The Camping and Caravanning Club has set the date for this year’s National Camping and Caravanning Week (NCCW) and we are SUPER EXCITED!

This year’s event will run from 30th May to 5th June when the Club will be joining in with national festivities to mark Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee on its sites across the UK.

There will be a plethora of celebrations running over the four-day UK bank holiday weekend (whoop whoop)! This great big British occasion will bring people together, and with camping and caravanning being such a prevalent British pastime, the NCCC wants campers around the UK to relish in being a part of this momentous event.

The week will kick off with Jubilee parties on Monday 30th May at Club Sites across the UK! Why don’t you pop to your local site for afternoon tea? Don’t worry if you can’t make it, just share your at home crem tea on social media and have a toast our wonderful Queen.

The NCCC has also released downloadable activities for the kids! If you have a long car journey ahead of you or just want to be prepared for a potential rainy day (it is England after all) then click the link below and get downloading! There are plenty of colouring sheets, word searches, bookmarks, and dot to dots which you can download by clicking here –

The NCCW has been running annually for 21 years and is all about celebrating the wonderful world of camping and caravanning.  Michelle Jewell, the Club’s Partnerships and Events Marketing Manager said: “National Camping and Caravanning Week is a key date in our diary when our thoughts turn to pitching up on campsites to enjoy warmer days exploring the great outdoors, and spending quality time with our loved ones.

“The Club has a longstanding connection to the Royal Family and we know our members will enjoy joining in with the nation’s celebrations.”
